FAQ
How far is the Hilton from Chabad of Playa del Carmen?
The Hilton is conveniently located near the Chabad Center, just a short 7–10 minute walk away.
I can't afford the full price of 95 USD. Is there any discount available?
At Chabad, our mission is to ensure everyone feels welcome, regardless of financial means. Chabad Playa raises funds to offer a subsidized price of 60 USD for those who otherwise couldn’t attend. If this reduced price is still not feasible for you, please contact us confidentially at [email protected].
Is the Seder bilingual or are there separate English and Hebrew Seders?
The Seders held at the Hilton Hotel are bilingual, with information shared in both English and Hebrew to ensure everyone feels comfortable and included.
My child will not be eating anything. Do I still need to reserve for my child?
Children under 3 who will not be taking their own seat do not require a reservation. For children age 3 and up, we offer a children’s price of 60 USD. As the event is catered and seating is limited, each seat has a cost regardless of age.
When should I book the Seder?
The sooner the better — space is limited and we may sell out as the holiday approaches.
What’s on the menu for dinner?
The Seder begins with the traditional Kiddush and all the steps of the Seder (karpas, charoset, maror, four cups, etc.). Dinner includes salads, dips, and salmon as a first course, followed by chicken, meat, roasted potatoes, and vegetables as the main course, and dessert.
What is a Private Seder Room?
For families or groups wishing to host their own private Seder while enjoying the amenities and kosher food provided by Chabad at the Hilton, Chabad of Playa can arrange a private room. Contact us for more details.
What is your cancelation policy?
